SWF is about spreading awareness to people around the world. Humans create the problems for endangerment to these animals and educating people informs and assists with the prevention and harm which could cause these animals to become extinct. The intended audience are people who want these animals to survive extinction. One of the challenges for this project was figuring out how to bring attention to this problem with the use of satire. I believe these ads are effective by spreading the facts about these animals. Each poster shows these endangered animals being put on “for sale” or “limited stock” by using the barcode. The traditional media is the most effective in this design because its more impactful when people can’t swipe it away on their phone and must come to terms that this is their reality. Posters and colors draw the viewer into looking at the information and learning more. Awareness allows viewers to understand the problem and how their choices effect the outcome for these animals.
